Lease Signings Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) brokered the lease of 2 800 sq.ft. to Safaa Saleh a men’s apparel store at Tampa Festival Centre in Tampa FL. The center is located on East Hillsborough Avenue and anchored by Winn Dixie Marketplace Rent-A-Center Radio Shack Family Dollar and H&R Block. The Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) signed the following lease transactions: Rex Stores leased 18 500 sq.ft. at Summit Towne Center in Erie PA; Spencer Gifts took 3 528 sq.ft. and Bruno’s Pizza leased 2 335 sq.ft. at Southland Mall in Marion OH and Sultan’s Castle leased 1 456 sq.ft. at Frenchtown Square Mall in Monroe MI. Capital Realty Advisors (561-624-5888) brokered the lease of 1 680 sq.ft. to Xtreme Sound & Vision at Spring Park Plaza Shopping Center in Denham Springs LA. The lease has a three-year term. The center is located at the intersection of South Range Avenue and Interstate 12. Cappelli Enterprises (914-769-6500) signed a lease for a 3 500-seat National Amusements movie theater complex at the City Center at White Plains in White Plains NY. The 15-screen theater will anchor the 600 000 sq.ft. entertainment and retail complex in the mixed-use project located at the site of the former Macy’s Department Store bordered by Main Street and Mamaroneck and Martine Avenues. Equity Investment Group (404-364-2984) signed the following lease agreements: World Gym leased 12 050 sq.ft. at Springbrook Plaza Shopping Center in Canton OH for a five-year term; Aaron Rents took 8 149 sq.ft. at Parkway Plaza Shopping Center in Winston-Salem NC for a five-year term; The World Outside Pets leased 7 200 sq.ft. at Palace Mall Shopping Center in Mitchell SD for a five-year term; Play It Again Sports took 6 800 sq.ft. at Florence Plaza Shopping Center in Florence KY for a five-year term; On Cue leased 6 500 sq.ft. at Freeport Plaza Shopping Center in Freeport IL for a five-year term; Advance America Cash Advance leased 3 150 sq.ft. at Gordon Village Shopping Center in Augusta GA for a three-year term; NAMCO Pool & Patio took 2 720 sq.ft. at Bristol Plaza Shopping Center in Philadelphia PA for a five-year term; H&R Block leased 2 175 sq.ft. at Napoleon Center Shopping Center in Napoleon OH for a five-year term; Jet Photo of Mitchell took 1 681 sq.ft. at Palace Mall Shopping Center in Mitchell SD and Clean Cuts leased 1 600 sq.ft. at North Leg Plaza Shopping Center in Augusta GA for a five-year term. Planned Commercial Development LLC (706-868-7400) brokered leases with Bi-Lo Supermarkets and Dollar General for a new development in North Aiken SC. The 52 000 sq.ft. center has 9 600 sq.ft. of inline space and four outparcels available. The Goldstein Group/ChainLinks (201-703-9700) brokered leases for Marty’s Shoe Outlet on Route 46 in West Patterson NJ and Atlanta Bread on Route 10 in Morris Plains NJ. HSS Partners LLC (847-677-9100) signed the sublease of 59 500 sq.ft. to Hobby Lobby from the Fleming Companies at University Plaza in Peoria IL. The former Thompson’s Food Basket store will reopen in time for the Christmas season. The center is fully leased and anchored by Kinko’s Blockbuster Hancock Fabrics and Dunham’s Sports. Island Associates Real Estate Inc. (631-587-5050) brokered the lease of the former Wiz/Cablevision store to European Living in Huntington NY. The site is located on Route 10 across from Whitman Mall. Excess Space Distribution Inc. (516-365-6400) brokered the following subleases for Eckerd: Advance Stores Company Inc. leased 11 840 sq.ft. in Honesdale PA; Dollar General took 10 800 sq.ft. in Palm Bay FL; Erwin Distributing Company leased 8 640 sq.ft. in Fort Worth TX; Family Dollar took 8 640 sq.ft. in Apopka FL; Rent-A-Center Inc. leased 7 200 sq.ft. in Coatesville PA and Venator Group Retail Inc. dba Footlocker leased 6 696 sq.ft. in Philadelphia PA.
