Lease Signings


The Sansone Group (314-727-6664) brokered the lease of 2 000 sq.ft. to Sally Beauty Company at South Lakeview Plaza in St. Louis MO. The center is located on Lemay Ferry Road.

The Cafaro Company (330-747-2661) leased 1 500 sq.ft. to Fiesta Hair & Tanning at Marion Plaza in Marion OH. The company leased 6 500 sq.ft. of space to Head To Toe at Union Square Plaza in Youngstown OH and 36 737 sq.ft. to Big Lots at the West Plaza in Muncie IN.

Royal Properties (914-237-3403) brokered the following leases in NJ to Just-A-Buck: 3 300 sq.ft. in the West Milford Shopping Center in West Milford; 3 500 sq.ft. at the Carlstadt Plaza in Carlstadt; 4 000 sq.ft. at the Towne Center in Flemington; 3 640 sq.ft. at Brentwood Plaza in Wayne; 2 960 sq.ft. at Pompton Lakes Town Center in Pompton Lakes. The company also brokered the following leases: 1 300 sq.ft. of space at the Carlstadt Plaza in Carlstadt NJ to Subway; 4 200 sq.ft. to Hollywood Tans at the Old Bridge Gateway Center in Parlin NJ; 500 sq.ft. inside the A&P Supermarket to Aim Mail Centers in Pompton Plains NJ; and 8 000 sq.ft. to The Goddard School in Airmont NY.

Legend Properties (215-599-0312) brokered the lease of 1 700 sq.ft. to Horn & Hardart Cafe Bakery in Philadelphia PA and another 1 400 sq.ft. in Mays Landing NJ. The company also brokered the lease of 13 500 sq.ft. to the PA Liquor Control Board on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia PA.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) brokered the lease of 30 000 sq.ft. to Gold’s Gym at The Home Furnishings Center in Merrifield VA. The center is located near Gallows Road and Lee Highway and also is tenanted by Boston Market Einstein Bros. Bagels and Calico Corners Fabrics. The company also brokered the lease of 20 000 sq.ft. to Everlasting Life Restaurant and Organic Market at Hampton Mall in Capitol Heights MD. The 255 000 sq.ft. center is anchored by Home Depot Staples and Ames. The company also brokered the lease of a 55 000 sq.ft. former Hechinger’s store to Shoppers Food Warehouse in Wheaton MD. The grocery store will expand the facility by 5 000 sq.ft. and plans to open the store located at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Randolph Road next summer.

Garrick-Aug Associates (212-557-9090) brokered the lease of 8 400 sq.ft. of ground floor space to Variety Cafe at 65 Broadway in New York NY. The cafe’s flagship location is at Rockefeller Center.

Grubb & Ellis (714-939-6000) brokered the lease of 11 000 sq.ft. to Easy Life Furniture at the Pavilions Center in Westminster CA. The lease has a five-year term. The center is located on Westminster Boulevard and tenanted by Vons Pavilions and Target.

Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) brokered the lease of 1 938 sq. ft. to Marisco La Cacho for a Mexican seafood restaurant on Highland Avenue in National City CA. The property owner Cal Asia Property Development Co. signed the 10-year lease with a consideration of $474 600. The company also brokered the lease of 3 350 sq.ft. to the City of San Diego for a Community Service Office at Southland Shopping Plaza Center in San Diego CA. Owner Southland Plaza Ltd. signed the five-year lease with a consideration of $245 441 for the space located on Saturn Boulevard. The company also brokered the lease of 2 800 sq.ft. to Payless ShoeSource at International Gateway Center in San Diego CA. The lease has a 10-year term and a consideration of $588 000 and was signed with owner International Gateway Association LLC for the space located on Camino De La Plaza. Flocke & Avoyer also brokered the lease of 2 264 sq.ft to Maly’s of California Inc. at Naples Center in Chula Vista CA. The property is located on Broadway and is owned by Sunburst Capital LLC. The lease has a 64-month term and a consideration of $129 048. The company also brokered the lease of 1 388 sq.ft. to San Diego Gas & Electric at Home Depot Shopping Center in San Diego CA. The center’s owner Madison Square Partnership signed the five-year lease with a consideration of $129 084.

Divaris also brokered the lease of 4 000 sq.ft. to Montgomery County Liquor Store at Leisureworld Plaza in Silver Spring MD and 2 900 sq.ft. to Sleep Center at Harmony Place in Columbus GA. Divaris also brokered the lease of 6 633 sq.ft. to Dry Clean Depot at Augusta Center in Sterling VA and 3 000 sq.ft. to Vitamin USA at Great Neck Centre in Virginia Beach VA.
