Pick ‘n Save (920-788-5231) will close its 55,000 sq.ft. store located at The Neenah Plaza at 1425 South Commercial in Neenah, WI by the end of the month.

The Disney Store, Inc. (818-265-3435) is closing its location at the SouthPark Mall in Charlotte, NC because the store was not meeting expected performance levels. The company plans to close as many as 150 stores during the next few years.

Eckerd Corp. (727-395-6000) closed its location in Hendersonville, KY’s Blue Ridge Mall because the store was financially underperforming. The company plans on closing as many as 10 stores this year.

Big V Supermarkets, Inc. (845-651-4411) plans to close its three remaining locations and cease operations after the company sells 27 of its supermarkets to Wakefern Food Corp. for $185 million.

Jacobson’s Stores, Inc. (517-764-6400) will likely close all of its stores by the end of this month unless the company finds a buyer. The company already has closed five stores since filing for bankruptcy reorganization in January.

Mayor’s Jewelers (954-846-8000) plans to close 12 of its 40 stores. The company lost $8.4 million in the quarter ending May 4, bringing its accumulated deficit to about $112 million.

Stein Mart, Inc. (904-346-1500) closed its 40,000 sq.ft. store in the Marketplace at 2700 West College Avenue in Appleton, WI.

Acme Market’s, Inc. (610-889-4000) closed its Millsboro, DE store in the Mid-Sussex Shopping Center located on Del. 113 because of declining sales. Albertson’s, Inc., Acme’s parent company, announced last July that it would be closing 165 unprofitable stores nationwide.

Albertson’s, Inc. (208-385-6200) closed its Osco Drug stores in Wichita, KS at 2020 North Woodlawn Boulevard and West Central Avenue. The chain now operates three area stores. The closing is part of a yearlong cost-cutting effort by Albertson’s, Inc.
