Lease Signings


Kaplan Real Estate, Co., Inc. (314-652-7000) negotiated the following leases: 1,750 sq.ft. for Shire Oil Company to NEA Enterprise, Inc. in Clayton, MO; 1,800 sq.ft. to Laser Spa, LLC at Chesterfield Commons Shopping Center in Chesterfield, MO; 1,400 sq.ft. to Quizno’s Classic Subs in Greenwood, Avon, Fishers and Plainfield, IN in addition to 1,500 sq.ft. in Farmington, MO.

Robert B. Aikens & Associates (248-258-2333) brokered leases at the Village of Rochester Hills with Limited Too, Maggie Moo’s and Poastal Annex in Rochester Hills, MI. Limited Too will occupy a space of 3,793 sq.ft., Maggie Moo’s will occupy a space of 1,112 sq.ft. and Poastal Annex will occupy a space of 1,172 sq.ft. The Village of Rochester Hills is scheduled to open in September 2002.

The Glimcher Group (412-765-8079) signed a lease with Ace East Wholesale Jewelry & Pawnbrokers, Inc. at Lincoln Knolls Plaza in Youngstown, OH. Ace East Wholesale will occupy a space of 3,500 sq.ft.

Capital Realty Advisors, Inc. (561-624-5888) has negotiated a 4,500 sq.ft. five-year lease with Shanghai River Chinese Restaurant at the Village Shopping Center in Austin,TX.

UDO Real Estate (310-573-2000) provided representation in the following lease transactions: 16,256 sq.ft. to Furniture Express at the Empire Gateway Center in San Bernardino, CA; 14,500 sq.ft. for 20 years to Walgreens at Berkley Square in Covina, CA; 20-years to Jack-in-the-Box at Flair Plaza in El Monte, CA; 4,000 sq.ft. for five years to Rent A Center on Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA; five years to Papa John’s in the Wal*Mart Center in Lancaster, CA and a sublease with Rite Aid in Pasadena.

Schultz Foster Addison Real Estate, Inc. (904-354-1789) negotiated a lease with Family Dollars Stores for 8,440 sq.ft. in Jacksonville, FL.

Excess Space Disposition, Inc. (516-365-6400) handled the following subleases: 12,925 sq.ft. from Walgreens to Amkor Trading, Inc. in Olivette, MO; 7,948 sq.ft. from Eckerd to Blockbuster in New Orleans, LA; 20,000 sq.ft. from Office Depot to BFD Northeast, LLC in Manchester, CT; 4,456 sq.ft. from Walgreens to Holidays General Service Corp. in Chicago, IL; 6,792 sq.ft. from Advance Auto to Dollar General in Atlanta, GA; and 8,000 sq.ft. from Eckerd to Dollar General in Euless, TX.
