Real Estate Professionals Making the News Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (214-265-0880) named Jeffrey M. Stone and Andrew S. Levy to lead the Dallas investment sales group. Stone and Levy previously were two of the managing directors in the Dallas office of Eastdil Realty, after spending 18 years and 10 years, respectively, with Cushman & Wakefield. Together they have represented institutions and other owners in the sale or recapitalization of office, hotel and mixed-use property valued at more than $3 billion in markets covering Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, TX; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; New Orleans, LA and San Francisco, CA. Edens & Avant (803-779-4420) recently hired Barbara Jaynes as retail leasing representative in their OH regional office. Jaynes will be responsible for retail leasing initiatives throughout the region. Previously, Jaynes served as real estate administrator for Revco, Inc. and headed retail store operations for FabriCenters of America. Edens & Avant recently hired Cindy Smith as director of big-box leasing. Smith will be based at the company’s Charlotte, NC regional office where her responsibilities will include leasing strategies for big-box retailers requiring an excess of 15,000 sq.ft. of space within the company’s portfolio. Smith previously served as leasing representative with Childress Klein Properties, as well as regional leasing manager for Developers Diversified Realty Corporation. Edens & Avant also announced that Carolyn T. Williams will serve as retail leasing representative in the company’s Charlotte regional office. Williams will be responsible for retail leasing initiatives throughout the region. Prior to joining the company in 1998, Williams headed Carolyn Williams & Co., where she served as tenant representative for Winn-Dixie Stores throughout eastern NC and VA. The Los Angeles Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID) (213-624-2146) brought on board Hal Bastian to its management team as director of economic development. DCBID is a coalition of property owners united to enhancing the downtown center district of Los Angeles. Bastian previously served as leasing director for Gilmore Associates’ Old Bank District Project and was instrumental in the acquisition and development of historic buildings in downtown Los Angeles. He also has worked in the commercial real estate services firms of Julien J. Studley, Inc. and Cushman & Wakefield. |
