Lease Signings


BRE Commercial/NAI (858-546-5400) negotiated the following lease agreements for Rolando Plaza Shopping Center located at 6411-6535 University Avenue in San Diego, CA to fill space formerly occupied by Albertson’s and Cal Stores: 15,000 sq.ft. for a 10-year term to Save-A-Lot Foods, 12,000 sq.ft. for a five-year term to The Salvation Army and 7,040 sq.ft. for a 10-year term to Gambro Healthcare, Inc.

CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (714-939-2100) leased space at a 13,000 sq.ft. strip center that is under development in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA to IHOP, Subway, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza, a dentist and a dry cleaner.

Greco Associates LLC (201-567-0477) brokered the following leases to Michaels in NJ: 24,000 sq.ft. at Paramus Towne Square in Paramus and 24,000 sq.ft. at North Village Shopping Center in North Brunswick. The company also brokered the lease of 1,560 sq.ft. to Mephisto in Westfield, NJ as well as leases for 10 locations with GNC in the metro New York, NY area.

The Goodman Co. (561-833-3777) negotiated with Nextel Communications for a 2,160 sq.ft. lease at the Shoppes of Parkland center located at the intersection of Hillsboro Boulevard and State Route 7 in Broward County, FL.

The Woodmont Co. (817-732-4000) negotiated a lease with Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for 3,914 sq.ft. at Oak Tree Plaza located at the intersection of Loop 288 and Spencer Road in Denton, FL. The company also brokered the following leases at Woodmont North located at 6248 McCart Avenue in Fort Worth, TX: 1,300 sq.ft. to Little Caeser Pizza and 1,133 sq.ft. to Angel Nails.

NAI Eagle Commercial Real Estate Services (513-629-1127) brokered the following leases in Cincinnati, OH: 12,000 sq.ft. to Harbor Freight Tools for an eight-year term at Manchester Shopping Center located at 5700 Harrison Avenue; 4,410 sq.ft. to #1 Fashion for a five-year term at The Colonnade at 2718 Vine Street; 1,200 sq.ft. to The Wireless Company for a five-year term at Shoppes at Kenwood II located at 7724 Montgomery Road in Sycamore Township.

Mid-America Real Estate Group (630-954-7300) brokered the following leases at Kensington Center in Plainfield, IL: 24,070 sq.ft. to Barnes & Noble, which was represented by CB Richard Ellis, Inc.; 2,800 sq.ft. to Payless ShoeSource, which was represented by Zifkin Realty & Development, and 1,190 sq.ft. to Supercuts, which was represented by Metro Commercial.

Sansone Group (314-727-6664) represented Nationwide Life Insurance Co. in the following lease transactions at Mid River Center in St. Louis, MO: 1,400 sq.ft. to Majestic Travel, Inc. and 2,000 sq.ft. to Kid’s Sportsworld, Inc. The company also brokered the following leases in St. Louis: 129,506 sq.ft. at 1812-38 Walton Road to Corporate Express Office Products, Inc., 3,200 sq.ft. at 8515-8517 Mid-County Industrial Road to Azar Printing, 6,345 sq.ft. at South Lakeview Plaza at 4444-4448 Lemay Ferry Road to Savannah, LLC, 1,400 sq.ft. at Cave Springs Square at 1049 Cave Springs Boulevard to The WW Group West, LLC, which trades as Weight Watchers.

Security Wards, LLC (410-265-5810) signed a lease with International Furniture Liquidators for 110,000 sq.ft. in the former Montgomery Ward building at the 1.1 million sq.ft. Security Square Mall in Woodlawn, MD.

Crosland, Inc. (704-529-1166) and Pappas Properties (704-716-3900) signed the following leases at Birkdale Village, a 52-acre mixed-use development the company is developing in Huntersville, NC: 5,500 sq.ft. to Ann Taylor Loft, 23,000 sq.ft. to Barnes & Noble, Inc., 7,848 sq.ft. to Banana Republic, 2,736 sq.ft. to Bath & Body Works, 1,555 sq.ft. to Belle Ville, 2,558 sq.ft. to Chico’s, 33,000 sq.ft. to Dick’s Sporting Goods, 6,032 sq.ft. to Victoria’s Secret, 10,055 sq.ft. to Pier 1 Imports, 7,500 sq.ft. to Talbot’s and 2,700 sq.ft. to The Yard Shop.

Capital Realty Advisors. Inc. (561-624-5888) negotiated a five-year lease with Colorful Hair & Nails for 2,580 sq.ft. at The Village Shopping Center at 2700 West Anderson Lane in Austin, TX.

Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) represented Berg Properties, LLC in the five-year lease of 3,158 sq.ft. at Rosencrans Center in San Diego, CA to Gallery Corp., which was represented by Grubb & Ellis Co. A Mattress Gallery location is expected to open at the site in July.

The Cafaro Co. (330-747-2661) leased the following spaces: 2,246 sq.ft. at South Hill Mall in Puyallup, WA to Wilson’s Leather; 1,400 sq.ft. at American Mall in Lima, OH to Quincy’s; 2,640 sq.ft. at Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg, VA to Heart-N-Home; 1,953 sq.ft. at North Park Mall in Marion, IN to Electronics Boutique; 1,703 sq.ft. at Eastwood Mall in Niles, OH to Electronics Boutique and 1,565 sq.ft. at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville, WV to Exotic Nails.
