Legg Mason Real Estate Services (215-496-3000) arranged a first mortgage loan of $85.5 million for the Columbia Village Centers portfolio in Columbia, MD. The financing was based on a five-year term with an amortization of 25 years. The portfolio comprises 12 shopping centers that contain a GLA of 829,468 sq.ft. The company also arranged a first mortgage loan of $800,000 for Dollar Tree located in Lenior, NC. The company also arranged a first mortgage loan of $13.7 million for a BJ’s Wholesale Club and an adjacent retail center located in White Marsh, MD. Financing was based on a 10-year term with an amortization of 30 years. The company also arranged a leasehold financing of $12.5 million for a planned 125,000 sq.ft. Wegman’s Food Store located in Stirling, VA. The financing was based on a six-year term with interest only during the entire term.

Saul Centers, Inc. (301-986-6220) closed a $125 million unsecured revolving credit facility to provide the company working capital and funds for redevelopments and acquisitions. The line has a three-year term and provides for an additional one-year extension at the company’s option. The new line is a $55 million expansion of a prior revolver. Currently, $42.5 million is outstanding under the line, with interest calculated using LIBOR plus 1.625%.

L.J. Melody & Co. (858-546-4671) arranged financing of $16.7 million for North Country Square, a 148,800 sq.ft. center located in Vista, CA. Tenants include Old Navy, Ross, Office Depot, Michaels, Hallmark, Just For Feet, KB Toys, Famous Footwear, Payless ShoeSource, Radio Shack, Coldstone Creamery and Subway.

Wellington Mortgage Capital (310-641-5711) provided financing for the following locations: $23.122 million at a 10-year fixed rate for Craig Marketplace in North Las Vegas, NV; $3.45 million for Desert Inn/Pecos in Las Vegas, NV; $5.28 million for Walgreens in Morgan Hill, CA; $14.5 million for Eastern Marketplace at a 10-year fixed rate in Henderson, NV; $2 million for Sunrise Tachquitz Plaza in Palm Springs, CA; $3.18 million for Walgreens at a 10-year fixed rate in Santa Fe, NM; $11.5 million for Beltway Plaza at a 10-year fixed rate in Henderson, NV; $8 million for Red Rock Center at a 10-year fixed rate in North Las Vegas, NV; $3 million for Walgreens at a 10-year fixed rate in Odessa, TX; $11.2 million for Beltway MarketPlace at a 10-year fixed rate in Henderson, NV; $4.8 million for Rancho Alta Mira at a 10-year fixed rate in North Las Vegas, NV and $2.95 million for Money World Retail at a 10-year fixed rate in Las Vegas, NV.
