DLC Management Corp. (914-631-3131) signed the following leases: 3,360 sq.ft. with Uncle Freddie’s Hometown Grill at Ocean East Mall in Stuart, FL; 2,482 sq.ft. with Subway at College Plaza in Fort Myers, FL; 2,500 sq.ft. with T-Mobile, 3,912 sq.ft. with Carter’s Childrenswear and 1,730 sq.ft. with Nextel at Spring Valley Marketplace in Spring Valley, NY; 1,600 sq.ft. with Union Federal Bank of Indianapolis at Nora Corners in Indianapolis, IN; 1,632 sq.ft. with LA Weight Loss at Alderwood Town Center in Lynnwood, WA; 2,640 sq.ft. with Hit It Big at Lurias’ Plaza in Vero Beach, FL and 1,092 sq.ft. with H&R Block at Takoma Langley in Langley Park, MD.
Mall Properties, Inc. (212-935-1330) signed a lease for 3,259 sq.ft. with Chipotle Mexican Grill at Akers Mill Square on Route 41 in Atlanta, GA. Opening is slated for Summer 2004. Chipotle currently operates 260 restaurants nationwide.
Island Associates Real Estate, Inc. (631-982-2100) brokered a 15-year lease with Wendy’s at the former Caldor Shopping Center located at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Route 101 in East Patchogue, NY. The company also signed a lease for 6,200 sq.ft. with Clobby’s, Inc., a dollar store, at a 20,000 sq.ft. center located at 575 Montauk Highway in Shirley, NY.
Finard & Co. (781-273-5555) signed a lease for 82,500 sq.ft. with Kohl’s in South Burlington, VT. Kohl’s will occupy the former Ames location at the 610,000 sq.ft. University Mall on Dorset Street. Opening is slated for April 2004. Cotenants include JCPenney, Sears, HomeGoods, The Bon Ton, The Gap, Victoria’s Secret, PacSun and Hot Topic. The company currently operates 542 stores nationwide.
Stiles Realty Group Co. (954-627-9377) signed a 10-year lease for 5,200 sq.ft. with Mayors Jewelers at PGA Commons located at 4510 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The company currently operates 28 stores, with 23 in FL and five in GA. The jeweler is relocating from its current Palm Beach Gardens location in The Gardens Mall.
Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (301-231-4877) signed a lease for 6,556 sq.ft. with Hollywood Video at Valley Park Commons Shopping Center located on West Boulevard in Hagerstown, MD. The company currently operates 1,800 stores nationwide. The center is cotenanted by Martin’s Grocery, Lowe’s Home Improvement and Sprint Cellular.
Excess Space Disposition (516-365-6400) signed the following leases: AutoZone subleased 9,000 sq.ft. to Wells Fargo Bank in El Monte, CA; Advance Auto subleased 3,000 sq.ft. to Video Warehouse in Callaway, FL; Eckerd subleased 9,070 sq.ft. to 99 Cents Paradise, Inc. in Oakland Gardens, NY; and Allied Domecq subleased 1,200 sq.ft. to Dippin Dots Peppaz, Inc. in Pembroke Pines, FL.
