Real Estate Professionals Making the News RMC Property Group (813-960-8154) named Linda E. Rains vice president of acquisitions and development. Her responsibilities will include pursuing shopping center and outparcel development projects for the company. Rains previously was director of development services for Metromedia Restaurant Group; executive director/senior vice president of development for Boston Market and regional real estate manager for KFC. The company also named David Bookman as chief financial officer. He will provide financial leadership to the company’s accounting and financial departments, including investor relations and reporting, corporate and project financial management and project financing. Bookman previously served as the CFO of Revelex Corp.; CFO of Equity One, Inc.; a tax manager with Kenneth Leventhal and Co. and a senior accountant with Pannell Kerr Foster. The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) hired Dan Mandelbaum and Curtis Nassau as agents. Vanguard Realty Group (301-547-1000) is a new full-service company that specializes in commercial and multi-family residential property management, commercial leasing, investment sales, building engineering and related facility services and consulting services. The team manages and leases a portfolio that includes more than 8.5 million sq.ft. of office, retail and industrial properties, and more than 3,500 multifamily residential units in the Mid-Atlantic region. Since the formation of the company, Vanguard’s principals has been awarded the management of Artery Plaza in Bethesda, MD and the Shops of Germantown in Germantown, MD, representing a total of more than 370,000 sq.ft. of office and retail management. Schostak Brothers & Co. (248-262-1000) announced that Mark M. London has joined the company to serve as vice president, director of leasing. London will oversee retail leasing operations for all Schostak properties. Prior to joining Schostak, London was principal of Mark London & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm he founded to serve owners and operating companies in all areas of shopping center business. Prior to that, London served at a variety of executive levels for several national developers, including General Growth Properties, Inc., Pyramid Cos. and Sam Zell’s Equity Properties and Development Co. Schostak is a full-service commercial real estate company, which operates over 50 office, residential and retail properties. |
