Lease Signings

Colliers Lanard & Axilbund (215-925-4600) signed a lease for 5,000 sq.ft. with Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar at 108 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill, NJ. Opening is slated for this Summer. The restaurant is located across from the Cherry Hill Mall. Applebee’s currently operates 1,400 restaurants throughout 49 states and eight countries. The company also signed a lease for 32,760 sq.ft. with Hamilton Home Furnishings at the intersection of Route 533 and Kuser Road in Hamilton Township, NJ. The store will be located in the Hamilton Plaza, which is anchored by Kmart, Dress Barn and Friendly’s.

Commercial Real Estate Services (757-491-1990) signed the following leases at Red Mill Commons, a 675,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Nimmo Parkway and Upton Drive in Virginia Beach, VA: 2,400 sq.ft. with Reed Manning Hair Design Studio and Day Spa; 1,600 sq.ft. with H&R Block; 1,000 sq.ft. with Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio; 3,200 sq.ft. with All About Scrapbooks; 4,666 sq.ft. with Panera Bread; 1.177 acres with Bank of America and 1.66 acres with Eckerd. The center is anchored by Wal*Mart Supercenter, T.J. Maxx, Michaels and Pier 1 Imports.

The Woodmont Co. (214-824-6091) signed a lease for 8,490 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at the Westview Shopping Center in Plainview, TX. The company also signed the following three leases at Gainesville Corners Shopping Center located at the intersection of Highway 82 and FM 372/Grand Avenue in Gainesville, TX: 7,500 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree; 1,875 sq.ft. with Friedman’s Jewelers and 1,500 sq.ft. with The Cash Store, a financial services company. All three stores are slated to open during November.

Capital Realty Advisors (561-624-5888) signed a five-year lease for 1,440 sq.ft. with Sign-A-Rama at the Skyridge Plaza located in Round Rock, TX.

The Katsias Co. (757-490-3585) signed the following leases throughout VA: 8,720 sq.ft. with Biomat; 1,675 sq.ft. with Impulse Records and 1,404 sq.ft. with Eagle Aeronautics at Langley Square Shopping Center located at 15 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton; 900 sq.ft. with a Chinese restaurant at Indian River Shopping Center located at 4337 Indian River Road in Chesapeake; 2,100 sq.ft. with Eastern Virginia Eye Associates and 2,100 sq.ft. with A&M Pawn Brokers at Las Gaviotas Shopping Center located at 1249 Cedar Road in Chesapeake. The company also signed the following leases with H&R Block throughout VA; 1,503 sq.ft. at 123-127 East Little Creek Road in Norfolk; 1,250 sq.ft. at 2815 Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk; 1,760 sq.ft. at Newport Square Shopping Center located at 838A J. Clyde Morris Boulevard in Newport News; 1,600 sq.ft. at Red Mill Commons Shopping Center located at 2137 Upton Drive in Virginia Beach and 1,920 sq.ft. at Collins Square Shopping Center located at 4001 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach.

Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-355-6141) signed a lease with Nail Garden at West Tel Plaza in Brownstown, MI. The 23,000 sq.ft. center is anchored by Mammoth Video and CVS and tenanted by Roly Poly, Subway and Fantastic Sams. The company also signed a lease with Great Clips at the Crosswinds Shopping Center in West Bloomfield, MI.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) signed a lease for 11,110 sq.ft. with Pier 1 Imports at Lakewood Towne Center located at 10509 Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood, WA. Opening is slated for September. The company also signed a lease for 12,102 sq.ft. with David’s Bridal at Valley River Plaza located at 293 Valley River Drive in Eugene, OR. Opening is slated for November.

Excess Space Disposition (516-365-6400) signed the following leases: Walgreens subleased 13,300 sq.ft. to Dollar General and Borders subleased 7,620 sq.ft. to Chatham Beauty.

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) signed a lease for 3,854 sq.ft. with Palm Beach Tan at Village Crossing located at 5653 West Touhy Avenue in Niles, IL. The company also signed the following two leases at Lincoln Park Center located at the intersection of North Avenue, Halsted Street and Clybourn Avenue in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, IL: 10,112 sq.ft. with Chicago Home Fitness and 3,775 sq.ft. with Carter’s, a national chain of infant and children’s clothing stores. The center is anchored by Borders Books & Music and LaSalle Bank. The company also signed a lease for 900 sq.ft. with ACIES Sunglasses at The Streets of Woodfield located at 601 North Martingale Boulevard in Schaumberg, IL. The company also signed a lease for 1,455 sq.ft. with Subway at Waukegan Plaza located at the intersection of Lewis and Glen Flora Avenues in Waukegan, IL.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed the following leases: 1,600 sq.ft. with FASTFRAME and 2,000 sq.ft. with Potomac River Running at Burke Centre Shopping Center in Burke, VA; and 3,200 sq.ft. with San Vito Italian Restaurant at Franklin Farm Village Center in Herndon, VA.

Pace Properties, Inc. (314-968-9898) signed the following leases: 20,911 sq.ft. with Club Fitness at Kohl’s Creve Coeur located at the intersection of Interstate 270 and Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur, MO; 78,408 sq.ft. with Family Dollar Stores of Missouri located at 9882 Halls Ferry in St. Louis, MO and 30,000 sq.ft. with T.J. Maxx at Wildwood Crossing Shopping Center located on Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City, MO.

The Rappaport Cos. (571-382-1200) signed a lease for 1,200 sq.ft. with Check Into Cash; 2,385 sq.ft. with Pineapple Designs and 1,600 sq.ft. with Quiznos at Festival at Old Bridge located at the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge, VA. The center is tenanted by Food Lion, Gold’s Gym and Blockbuster Video.

Glenwood Development Co. (770-937-9500) signed a lease for 21,125 sq.ft. with The Fresh Market at the Shoppes on the Parkway, an 86,866 sq.ft. center located on William Hilton Parkway in Hilton Head Island, SC. The center will be renamed Fresh Market Shoppes and will be completely renovated to accommodate The Fresh Market and other new tenants. Opening is slated for Spring 2004. Cotenants include West Marine, Jones New York, Players World of Golf, Vitamin World, Delvecchio’s Restaurant, Gruby’s Delicatessen Restaurant, Phillips Shoes, Sport Line, Shoe String, Gourmet Alligator, Ocean Motion and Hilton Head Shirt Co.
