Katz & Associates (845-735-6666) represented Galyan’s Trading Co. in leasing 108,000 sq.ft. of space in Garden City, NY. The prototype store is a portion of the former Stern’s, having direct access to the two million sq.ft. Roosevelt Field Mall. Co-anchors include Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom. The company also represented Linens ‘n Things with a 54,775 sq.ft. store in Tysons Corner, VA. The center is located on Route 123, just south of Route 7 and Interstate 495 within a half mile of Tysons Corner Mall and Tyson’s Galleria. The one-story building is being vacated by a data center and was formerly occupied by Hechinger’s.

The Grossman Cos., Inc. (617-472-2000) has been named exclusive agent for the retail component of Munroe Place at Quincy Center, now under construction, in Quincy, MA. When completed, the center will consist of 111 luxury apartment units on seven floors, plus 10,000 sq.ft. of retail space on the street level. Spaces available will range from 1,700 sq.ft. to 6,000 sq.ft. The building is adjacent to the MBTA Red Line and Commuter Rail stations. Area retail includes Dudley’s Liquid Library, a pasty and coffee shop, Gypsy Kitchen, a store specializing in sauces, pastries, chocolates and coffees and teas, and Fajitas and Ritas, a Mexican restaurant.

Doherty Enterprises, Inc. (201-818-4669) is exclusively representing Applebee’s in its expansion throughout Long Island, NY. The restaurants occupy space of 5,500 sq.ft. in freestanding locations, malls and strip centers. Applebee’s currently operates 37 locations throughout NJ and NY.

CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (602-735-5555) has been retained by the ownership of El Con Mall, a 1,180,166 sq.ft. mall located at 3601 East Broadway Boulevard in Tucson, AZ, to serve as the exclusive marketing and management agent for the property. The center is currently anchored by Home Depot, JCPenney, Robinsons-May and a Target that is scheduled to open next year. Recent new tenants include Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Claim Jumper Restaurant. Multiple outparcels along the Broadway Road frontage are also being developed.

The Schultz Organization/TCN Worldwide (732-855-0001) was appointed exclusive leasing and management agent for Essex Green Shopping Center, a 351,430 sq.ft. center located in West Orange, NJ. The center is anchored by Macy’s, Sears Hardware, ShopRite, Petco and AMC Theaters and has space available of 11,500 sq.ft. in two units.

Rotella Toroyan Clinton Group (954-568-9015) is exclusively representing The Atlanta Bread Co. in its planned expansion for three sites in Dade County, FL, four in Broward County, FL and three in Palm Beach County, FL. The company requires a population of 25,000 within three minutes and an average daily traffic count of 25,000 vehicles. The stores occupy spaces of 4,200 sq.ft. to 4,800 sq.ft. with a minimum frontage of 40 feet. The company prefers outparcels, build-to-suits, freestanding locations, conversions or endcaps.

Garrick-Aug Associates (212-557-9090) has been named the exclusive agent for the space at 106 Spring Street in New York, NY. The building has space available of 4,600 sq.ft. (ground level) and 1,500 sq.ft. (lower level). Area retail includes Burberry, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel, Helena Rubinstein, Movado, Quicksilver, Banana Republic, Balthazar, Skechers, Museum Shop, L’Occitane, Origins, Emporio Armani, Nancy Geist, M.A.C., Sunglass Hut, Nilaya and Hogan.

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) is exclusively representing Bear Rock Cafe in its expansion throughout NJ. The restaurants occupy spaces of 3,500 sq.ft. to 4,500 sq.ft. in endcaps and freestanding locations.
