Real Estate Professionals Making The News NAI Horizon Nevada (702-796-8888) named Chris Godino an agent for the company. Godino has been involved with site selection for tenants such as Circuit City, Cingular, Cole Optical, GMAC, GNC, HomePlace, Schlotzky’s and Norwalk Furniture. Godino ran his own firm for three years prior to joining NAI Horizon. Divaris Real Estate (757-497-2113) named Stephen Kramer principal of the company’s Charlotte, NC office. Before joining Divaris, Kramer served as vice president of the retail division for Parker Lincoln Developers. The Macerich Co. (310-394-6000) promoted Tim Gibbons from assistant vice president of leasing to vice president of leasing for the Westcor Region. He will be responsible for directing the permanent leasing activities of all eight mall properties in the region. CB Richard Ellis (310-516-2338) announced that Richard Rizika is the top producing retail sales professional in the company’s western region for last year. He also achieved the number two position amongst all retail sales professionals for the company worldwide. The Chicago Association of Shopping Center Owners (708-383-6450) named W.R. "Terry" McCollom of McCollom Realty, Ltd. its new president for a two-year term. The Association also recently elected Biff Ruttenberg of Atlas Partners as its new vice president for the next two years. Jan Koe of Method K Partners and Jim Persino of First Development Corp. were also elected board members.RMC Property Group (800-728-5379) announced that Darrin Griffin joined the company’s development team to serve as project manager for the central FL area. Griffin was formerly a project manager with Kelsey Construction. Edens & Avant (800-993-5566) promoted Jerry M. Matelski to vice president of asset management. He will be responsible for the asset management of the company’s retail assets in the Northeast portfolio. Matelski formerly worked with Equitable Real Estate and Lend Lease Real Estate. Captec Financial Group (800-522-7832) announced that Ronald Max joined the company as vice president for the Realty Capital Division. Max will be responsible for acquiring single-tenant net lease properties and marketing Captec’s developer joint venture program. Max returns to Captec, where he previously held the position of chief investment officer and was responsible for the retail acquisition and development joint venture programs throughout the U.S. National Realty & Development (914-694-4444) announced that John G. Orrico will become managing director of retail leasing. He will be responsible for leasing the company’s portfolio of 80 shopping centers, totaling more than 13,000,000 sq.ft. He also will oversee all marketing for the company’s retail portfolio and new developments planned for this year, which will add more than 1.9 million sq.ft. of GLA to the company’s portfolio. Stirling Properties (985-898-2022) announced that Peter Aamodt joined the company as director of development. The new position was created to support Stirling’s expanded activity in single-tenant, build-to-suit development. Aamodt will be responsible for evaluating, managing and coordinating strategies. He also will work with tenant representative brokers and the development team to coordinate the delivery of new stores. |
