Lease Signings Atlas Partners Commercial Brokerage, LLC (312-516-5704) signed a lease for 1,760 sq.ft. with Chernin’s Shoe Outlet at Oswego Commons Shopping Center in Oswego, IL.
Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (212-599-3700) signed a 10-year lease for 1,000 sq.ft. with Wachovia Bank at the HBO Building in New York, NY and a 10-year lease for 2,000 sq.ft. with Sprint in New York, NY. The 350,000 sq.ft. HBO Building is located at the intersection of Avenue of the Americas and 42nd Street. Cotenants include Starbucks, Fleet Bank, New Balance Footwear and Hale and Hearty, a New York food chain. The stores are slated to open early this year. The company also signed a five-year lease for 1,116 sq.ft. with Allen-Edmonds Shoe Corp. at 1025 Connecticut Avenue in Washington, DC. Opening is slated for this month.
Horizon Properties of Miami, Inc. (786-514-7149) signed over 5,600 sq.ft. in lease transactions at Kendall Park Plaza, a center located on Kendall Drive SW 162nd Avenue in West Kendall, FL. The new tenants who have been added to the tenant mix at the center with three to five-year leases include Italian Fashion Outlet with 1,585 sq.ft.; Verizon Wireless with 1,103 sq.ft. and Steve’s Pizza with 3,000 sq.ft.
Commercial Real Estate Services (757-491-1990) negotiated the following leases for Red Mill Commons, a 675,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Nimmo Parkway and Upton Drive in Virginia Beach, VA: 2,400 sq.ft. with La Bella Italia Pizzeria; 1,600 sq.ft. with The UPS Store and 3,200 sq.ft. with El Tapatio, Inc. The center is anchored by Wal*Mart Supercenter, T.J. Maxx, Michaels and Pier 1 Imports. The company also signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with Planet Smoothie at Marketplace at Hilltop, a 15-acre specialty market located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) signed a lease for 12,880 sq.ft. with Grand Buffet at within the former Coco’s building at the Plaza Camino Real Shopping Center located at 2515 El Camino Real in Carlsbad, CA. The lease is for 128 months and a consideration of $3,986,679. Opening is slated for July.
Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (856-222-3013) negotiated the following three leases at Market Square Shopping Center, a 113,550 sq.ft. center located in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA: with Quizno’s Sub, The UPS Store and a laundromat. The center is anchored by Super Fresh, Eckerd Drugs and Blockbuster Video. There are currently two vacancies available of 1,840 sq.ft. and 3,400 sq.ft. Michael Salove Co. (610-664-8100) signed the following leases on 16th Street in Center City Philadelphia, PA: 2,800 sq.ft. with Usona Furniture and 800 sq.ft. with Crema Lita, which is slated to open during the Spring. The company also signed a lease for 3,000 sq.ft. with Mimi Maternity at 1615 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, PA. The store will occupy the first floor in the city’s Rittenhouse Row shopping district. Opening is slated for the Summer.
Crown Realty & Development (310-821-5300) signed a long-term lease for 6,500 sq.ft. with Hooters at Media City Center Mall in downtown Burbank, CA. The restaurant will be located at 600 North 1st Street at the intersection of Cypress Avenue.
Crosland (704-561-5200) signed a lease for 10,800 sq.ft. with CVS and 6,353 sq.ft. with Hollywood Video at Hunter’s Crossing, a 68,400 sq.ft. center located in south Charlotte, NC. The center is tenanted by Lowes Foods, Bella Spa, Carriage Cleaners, Coffee Amour, Dragonfly Chinese Restaurant, Firehouse Subs, Great Clips and Wendy’s.
Northwest Atlantic Real Estate Services (914-328-2222) signed two leases with Jamba Juice in New York, NY. One location is in Times Square, while the other is in Midtown. Jamba Juice operates more than 400 stores throughout 24 states and Washington, DC. It plans to open 15 more smoothie stores in Manhattan by year’s end and 30 thereafter in the NY area.
Greenberg Commercial (410-559-2500) signed a lease for 25,079 sq.ft. with Bed Bath & Beyond and 30,500 sq.ft. with Marshalls at Westminster Crossing, a 225,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Englar Road and MD Route 140 in Westminster, MD. The center is anchored by Office Depot, Super Fresh and CVS.
Schroeder-Manatee Ranch and Casto Southeast (941-907-6000) signed a lease with Sarasota Film Society, which will bring an eight-screen movie theater complex to the Main Street shopping area at Lakewood Ranch in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
Learsi & Co. (847-374-0002) signed the following leases at Midway Square Shopping Center, a 55,574 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of 51st Street and Pulaski Avenue in Chicago, IL: 1,000 sq.ft. with Aztec Grill; 1,600 sq.ft. with Sally Beauty Supply; 1,700 sq.ft. with Curves For Women and 3,200 sq.ft. with Bank One.
