Thor Equities (212-529-5055) announced that Suman P. Gera has joined the company’s management team as senior vice president for asset management. Gera will be responsible for setting and implementing strategies for assets under management by Thor Equities. She will oversee enhancement and redevelopment, leasing, operations, tenant credit analysis, feasibility studies, financial management and compliance with lender requirements. Prior to joining Thor Equities, Gera served in a variety of capacities for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments in Atlanta, GA.

The Rappaport Cos. (571-382-1200) announced that Henry Fonvielle, a 17-year veteran of Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty, will join The Rappaport Cos. as executive vice president. Fonvielle brings a one million sq.ft. retail portfolio and a tenant-representation team, which will form the new Rappaport Retail Brokerage division. This move brings the company’s portfolio to 7.6 million sq.ft. of retail space. Fonvielle’s leasing team includes Bill Dickinson and Melissa Webb, both former Charles E. Smith brokers. Dickinson will serve as Rappaport’s senior director of retail brokerage, and Webb will become director of retail brokerage.
