Real Estate Professionals Making The News Centurion Partners, LLC (704-895-2512) hired Philip Corriher as director of leasing. His responsibilities will include managing the sales and leasing process for the company’s projects throughout the southeastern U.S. Corriher is currently working on Colonnade at King’s Grant, a 21,000 sq.ft. center located in Concord, NC; Graystone Crossing, a 4.5-acre mixed-use development located in Tega Cay, SC and Northlite Commons IV, a 9,750 sq.ft. center located in Kannapolis, NC. Corriher was most recently vice president of retail for Commercial Carolina Corp., a member of Cushman & Wakefield Alliance in Charlotte. He also previously held a position as a commercial real estate broker with Norcom Properties.
Weiss Realty Co., Inc. (201-814-1800) appointed Andrew Schreiber as sales associate in its retail brokerage division. Schreiber previously worked as a principle in his family’s shoe business, McCreedy & Schreiber.
Wolf Retail Leasing (213-793-1010) announced that Richard Wolf has resigned from Urban Retail Properties to open his own consulting firm. Wolf will continue to lease Anaheim Garden Walk in Anaheim, CA, as well as representing several tenants.
NAI Capital (818-905-2400) hired Bert Abel as the company’s executive vice president and branch manager of the Valencia, CA office. Abel will continue to specialize in retail development, while adding industrial, office, hospitality and land to his resume. Previously senior vice president for Grubb & Ellis, Abel has over 20 years of retail brokerage, sales and marketing experience. Specializing in ground-up development, Abel and his team have represented the developers of 17 shopping centers in the last three years and currently have over 1.5 million sq.ft. of leasing responsibility.
Pine Tree Commercial Realty, LLC (847-735-0600) appointed Bruce Boruszak as the firm’s vice president and general counsel. He most recently worked for the Chicago, IL law firm of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon, where he was partner and co-chair of the Real Estate Practice Group.
NewQuest Properties (281-477-4300) hired Cyndee Smith as senior vice president of retail leasing. With 23 years experience, she has been vice president of retail for Shelby/Estus since 1992. Smith began her real estate career at Henry S. Miller Co. in 1982, joining Wulfe & Co. at its inception in 1985.
Botsaris Realty Group (212-630-9900) recently formed a full-service, retail real estate leasing company, serving property owners and tenants.
