Lease Signings Strathmore Development Co. (517-336-4400) signed leases with City Furniture and Ashley Furniture to anchor the Alico Lakes Village in Lee County, FL. The furniture stores will join a new 172-room Holiday Inn Select and Conference Center and approximately 200,000 sq.ft. of additional retail, restaurant and office users also under development.
NewQuest Properties (281-477-4300) signed the following leases: 134,000 sq.ft. with Garden Ridge at 12605 Gessner Road in Houston, TX and 100,000 sq.ft. with JCPenney at the Cy-Fair Professional Shops, located at the intersection of Spring-Cypress Road and U.S. 290 in Cypress, TX.
Cross Development (580-237-3003) signed a lease for 1,756 sq.ft. with Quizno’s at Cross Roads Shopping Center located at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 75 and West FM 120 in Denison, TX. The site is located adjacent to Wal*Mart Supercenter.
Rose Associates, Inc. (212-210-6725) signed a 10-year lease for 1,243 sq.ft. of ground floor space at 37 East Eighth Street in New York, NY with Crumbs Bake Shop at University Walk. University Walk is comprised of 27 stores, totaling approximately 60,000 sq.ft. of retail space. The specialty bakery will occupy the location previously occupied by The Face Shop. Crumbs Bake Shop operates four other NY locations.
Courtelis Co. (305-261-4330) signed the following leases at the Deerwood Town Center: 4,200 sq.ft. with Commerce Bank and 1,559 sq.ft. with The Optical Boutique. Both tenants are expected to open in early 2007. The center is located at the intersection of Coral Reef Drive and SW 122nd Avenue in Miami, FL. Home Depot, Winn-Dixie and OfficeMax anchor the 250,000 sq.ft. project. The company also signed a lease for 19,319 sq.ft. with K&G Fashion Superstore in a space formerly occupied by Winn-Dixie at the Lakewood Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Highway 441 and West Atlantic Boulevard in Margate, FL. The Lakewood Shopping Center is anchored by a 150,000 sq.ft. Wal*Mart Supercenter; a 32,266 sq.ft. Ross Dress For Less and a 30,000 sq.ft. Marshalls. Other tenants joining the project are Rack Room Shoes and State Farm Insurance.
Neal Realty & Investments, Inc. (954-568-0530) signed the following leases: 3,088 sq.ft. with Body & Soul Retreat for five years at the Shoppes of Cooper City, located at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Sheridan Street in Cooper City, FL; 1,436 sq.ft. with Colbert/Ball Tax Services for five years at the Atlantic Business Center, located at the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Powerline Road in Pompano Beach, FL; 850 sq.ft. with Freedom Tax & Multi Services for three years at the Pineapple Plaza, located on Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL and 1,360 sq.ft. with The Korean Xpress for five years at the Bergeron Plaza, located at the intersection of 196th Avenue and Sheridan Street in Pembroke Pines, FL.
L3 Corp. (314-469-7400) signed the following leases with Golf Galaxy: 15,413 sq.ft. at the Robinson Town Centre in Pittsburgh, PA; 17,000 sq.ft. at The Shops at Arbor Walk in Austin, TX; 15,025 sq.ft. at Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers, FL; 17,040 sq.ft. at a freestanding Barnes & Noble in Paramus, NJ; 14,650 sq.ft. at St. George’s Shopping Center in Woodbridge, NJ; 15,000 sq.ft. at Stratford Commons in Winston Salem, NC; 12,500 sq.ft. at 4831 Golf Road in Skokie, IL and 15,000 sq.ft. at Northlake Village in Charlotte, NC. The company signed the following leases with PetSmart: 20,087 sq.ft. at The Shops at Riverstone Shopping Center in Missouri City, TX; 20,087 sq.ft. at the Home Depot Shopping Center in Houston, TX; 23,000 sq.ft. at the Southdale Shopping Center in Des Moines, IA; 20,087 sq.ft. at the McGrath Creek Crossing in Wichita Falls, TX; 20,087 sq.ft. at the Brownsville Crossing in Brownsville, TX and 20,087 sq.ft. at The Shops at Vineyard Village in Euless, TX. The company also signed a lease with Audio Express for 2,800 sq.ft. at the Mid Rivers West Centre in St. Peters, MO.
Edens & Avant (803-779-4420) signed a lease with Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurant for 2,600 sq.ft. at the Shoppes at Woodhill on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, SC. Opening is slated for January 2007 or later in the spring. The new restaurant will be situated near a Radio Shack. The franchisee also has two Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants in Myrtle Beach, SC and is in negotiations to open another location in Northeast Richland, SC. Sez-Tec LLC operates 19 Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants in NC, SC and TN. |
