Real Estate Professionals Making the News NewMark Merrill Cos. (714-240-4395) teamed with Pacific Retail Partners founder Allen Ginsborg to acquire, develop and lease shopping centers in CO. Recently, the partnership acquired three centers in Fort Collins, Westminster and Broomfield that totaled 300,000 sq.ft.
Cohen Financial (866-315-6215) named Edwin E. Gambee as director of the company’s capital markets unit. He will manage the origination, analysis and placement of real estate financing in the western U.S. Gambee had previously served in the production office of a regional mortgage brokerage firm.
Hilco Merchant Resources, LLC (847-418-2711) hired Gary Crunkleton as vice president of store operations, a newly created position. Crunkleton will supervise and train the company’s field team of more than 200 consultants, as well as oversee the company’s operations. He had previously worked with Hilco Merchant Resources as an independent contractor field consultant.
NAI Avant (803-744-9854) named Bruce Harper vice president and partner of the company. He will join the company’s executive management team.
Friendly Ice Cream Corp. (413-731-4238) appointed George M. Condos as president and CEO of the company, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Most recently, he had served as brand officer for Dunkin’ Donuts.
Linear Retail Properties, LLC (781-273-5665) hired Gail McNeice as vice president of leasing and asset management. She will develop and execute strategies for assigned assets and manage third-party property management services for the company. Prior to joining Linear Retail Properties, McNeice was regional director of property management for Edens & Avant.
Noddle Cos. (402-496-1616) hired Paul R. Dietsch as vice president of administration and development. His responsibilities will include administration of the financing, leasing and insurance processes for the company’s properties as well as the analysis and structuring of real estate development projects and new business developments. Dietsch had worked with Fraser Stryker PC LLO since 1994.
Johnson Capital (310-286-7400) named Michael D. Hunter senior vice president of the company’s Los Angeles, CA office. Hunter was previously managing director at Newmark Knight Frank and had formed the Structured Finance Group.
McCollom Realty, Ltd. (708-383-6450) hired John Sutton and Dan Peterson as leasing agent and property manager, respectively. Peterson was hired as an associate and will be leasing properties in IL.
CB Richard Ellis (305-381-6439) appointed Bill Moss senior managing director for FL. He will be based in Orlando, managing all service lines and operational support throughout the company’s nine offices in FL. Moss has been with the company since 1978.
Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate (631-928-9600) appointed Christopher Konopka as a licensed real estate sales associate and senior real estate advisor. He will focus on industrial sales, leasing and investment properties, as well as serving in the broader commercial and retail areas. Konopka had previously served as a self-employed real estate investor. |
