Cushman & Wakefield (212-841-7500) promoted Richard S. Baumstein to executive vice president. He has been with the company since 1975. Baumstein specializes in agency assignments for corporate users, developers and property owners.

Hudson Realty Capital, LLC (212-532-3553) promoted Karim Demirdache to managing director. He will be responsible for real estate acquisitions and investments. Demirdache joined Hudson Realty Capital in 2003 as a director and previously had been vice president of The Praedium Group.

GVA Advantis (407-999-4775) named John K. Hutcheson chairman and CEO. As chairman, he will lead the board of directors in developing an overall strategy for the company’s growth throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. As CEO, Hutcheson is responsible for implementing strategy and overseeing overall operations at GVA Advantis and Advantis Construction Co. He previously served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

NAI MLG Commercial (262-797-9400) hired Adam Connor as a retail broker. He will represent local and national retailers, lease retail properties, acquire property and develop land sites. In addition, Connor will work with landlords and developers in the sale, lease, acquisition and development of commercial property.
