| Real Estate Professionals Making the News Coreland Cos. (714-573-7780) named Renee Pugh regional real estate manager of the company’s new regional office in Salt Lake City, UT. The office is Coreland’s first outside CA. Pugh will develop and train a management team that will expand the company’s portfolio in UT and surrounding states and will oversee all facets of real estate management, including daily operations, client, tenant and vendor relations, operating budgets, reporting and tenant and building improvements. Pugh previously worked as real estate manager with CB Richard Ellis, managing a 1.5 million sq.ft. portfolio. Rawson, Blum & Leon (415-891-3600) hired Erik Halterman as development manager. He will be responsible for overseeing the development and repositioning of the company’s multi-tenant retail centers and mixed-use projects throughout CA. The company specializes in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate in the western states. It has earmarked $50 million to put towards acquisitions this year. Previously, Halterman worked as vice president for Rockwood Capital and also served as development manager for Westrust Ventures, LLC. The Linder Co. (317-844-5313) has been renamed Sitehawk Retail Real Estate Group. The company was founded in 1982 by Gary Linder and Linder sold his interest in the firm two years ago and left the company. The brokerage company focuses on the IN market and its deals include transactions with Blockbuster Video, Olive Garden, Old Navy and Starbucks. Hanley Brown Real Estate Advisors (949-585-7610) promoted Eric P. Wohl to vice president. Wohl had previously served as senior associate and has sold $100 million of retail property in Orange County and closed on $200 million of commercial property throughout southern CA. He has earned the Top Producer Award from the company and was featured in Real Estate Southern California Magazine’s "30 Under 30" issue. The Rosen Group (561-487-7887) hired Phil Hait as vice president of real estate. Hait had worked at BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. for the past 15 years. He has been involved with 100 big box deals representing 10 million sq.ft. of space from ME to FL. Hartman Commercial Properties REIT (866-789-7348) hired Samuel Demissie as director of acquisitions and asset management. He will be responsible for overseeing and performing investment, market and property analysis, in addition to determining asset value, recommending acquisitions, analyzing alternatives and implementing the company’s five-year business plan. The company owns and operates retail, office and office warehouse properties throughout Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, TX. Marcus & Millichap (818-907-0600) announced that senior associate Glenn Kunofsky has been named the top retail investment professional for 2006. Kunofsky facilitated transactions valued at more than $254 million. He joined the company in 2001, and is currently serving as senior director of the firm’s national retail group and net-leased properties group. The company is one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in the nation focusing exclusively on real estate investments. Dumler Properties (843-815-6768) hired Marc Orlando as director of planning and development. |
