GVA Advantis (813-342-4752) named Michael Winters president – Central FL. He had previously served as managing director for the company. Winters will serve with chairman and CEO, John K. Hutcheson, and four regional presidents on the executive committee of the company, which guides the strategy and operations of the company. In addition, Winters will continue to be responsible for all aspects of GVA Advantis’ regional operations, including brokerage, property management and construction.

Millennium Properties R/E, Inc. (312-338-5470) hired Brad Thompson as an associate. He will sell and lease assets throughout the Midwest. He had previously worked with the mortgage finance group at Wells Fargo.

Two principals of Heritage Management Co. (201-251-9700), Jeffrey Greenberg and Steven Greenberg, teamed with Robert R. Martie to form Heritage Capital Group, LLC. The new company will acquire office, flex, industrial and retail properties east of the Mississippi River. In addition, it will serve as the investment arm of a larger real estate organization that includes Heritage Management, which currently owns and operates about five million sq.ft. of commercial property in the Northeast. Heritage Capital Group is also forming an equity joint venture with an unspecified partner.

Colliers Arnold (727-442-7184) hired Salli Jones-Doyon to join its southwest FL retail team. She will specialize in retail and office services for Collier and Southern Lee counties. Previously, she was director of sales and leasing for a commercial real estate company in Bonita Springs, FL.

United Commercial Realty (214-526-6262) created a new division, UCR Urban, which will focus on leasing mixed-use and lifestyle retail developments and representing retail brands nationwide.

Wrightwood Capital (312-324-5943) appointed George O’Brien as senior director of investments. He will be primarily focused on transactions in CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA and RI. He had previously served a principal with NDC Capital Partners, a private equity firm.

S.J. Wisinski & Co. (616-942-8877) is partnering with Retail Development Group (616-726-2160) and Edmark Development Co. to form The Wisinski Group. Wisinski will handle brokerage functions, while RDG and Edmark continue to develop and own their own properties.
