Grubb & Ellis (317-844-2700) named Scot Courtney president. He will manage the vision and strategic direction of the firm, in addition to leading the retail services of the central IN office. Courtney joined the company in 1995 and specializes in tenant representation, site acquisition, shopping center development consulting, shopping center leasing and retail property sales in central IN.

DLC Management Corp. (914-631-3131) appointed Henry R. Rouda vice president of legal affairs. He previously served as director of leasing services for Foot Locker Realty.

Marcus & Millichap (925-953-1716) promoted Ted Kokernak to vice president of investments. He joined the company in 1981 and has been the company’s top producer in its Palo Alto, CA office. Kokernak specializes in retail property and currently serves as director of the National Retail Group.

Commerce Bancorp, Inc. (856-751-9000) hired Mark J. Olear as senior vice president and director of real estate development, a newly created position. He will oversee the development of new locations. Previously, Olear headed the real estate team in charge of developing Home Depot’s retail sites throughout the eastern U.S. and Caribbean.
